How long does it take to drive to Arlington, WA, from Vancouver, BC during weekday during mid-day?
We are Canadians, and it's our first time trying by car. We heard of stories where the border CUSTOMS part may take up to three hours waiting in line, getting inspected, etc. Is this true?
I have gone through the border a few times, the best time for me was late at night and mid day. Around 12-1 o'clock it wasn't too bad. The only time that it took a long time was near the weekend, and it took around an hour to get through. I am American though so it may take a little longer to get through to the US side. As long as you have your passports and proper identification you should be ok. On google maps it says that it would take an hour and 51 minutes without any wait.
