Is a '97-99 Honda Civic a good car?
I only have around £2k to spend and my other main choice is a Ford Fiesta Zetec '99. The Civic will have a 1.4-1.5 engine, the Zetec will be a 1.25.
Which would be the better choice taking into consideration:
Reliability
Fuel economy
Expense of spare parts
Insurance
Tax, etc

i would go for the civic, i used to have 1 and they have brilliant engines and gearboxes-never give trouble.
all the rest would be fairly similar as its only 1.2-1.4
