Impressions about the carriage Ford Mondeo ‘98: The car is big and spacious, the dashboard is from mahogany, fabric stereo system (the sound is unique, I had problems with code, but with a little searching on the web, everything can be found), the climate control is a needed extra. Note for the ash-tray – it's placed in a very uncomfortable place, right in front of the gear shift and it's hard to use when changing to first or third gear. The lights are weak, as most Fords, but I placed brand new xenon and the visibility significantly improved. The forward visibility is good, but the back is not that good because of the rear seatbacks. The trunk is huge and the spare tire is in special compartment on the floor.

Impressions about the engine/transmission, power, maneuverability, fuel consumption at Ford Mondeo ‘98: The engine is little weak for the carriage, 90 horse powers on 1,5 tons, but after all I don't need a race car. It accelerates well at low gears (over 2500 rpm) and at the high gears is a little clumsy. At cold weather I have problems with switching to first and second gear and the noise in the carriage at high speed is very loud.

Impressions for steering/suspension, stability, ride of Ford Mondeo '98: The automobile is very stable on the road, steers easy, the ride is soft and smooth and the brakes are perfect but the suspension feels a little stiff.

Main disadvantages of Ford Mondeo '98: weak lights, the engine needs a little more punch for that carriage.

Main advantages of Ford Mondeo '98: Convenient, comfortable, easy to drive, perfect family car.

Details about maintenance for Ford Mondeo '98: I had problem with the water pump of the windshield wipers, which is mounted near to the right tire, in a very uncomfortable place, to change it you must take off the lower crust and the tire but the price is very low. I've changed the belts, oil, filters and the price remains relatively cheap.
