What brand of tyre do you swear by?
Hi, am wondering if you can help me here?i am looking to here from your thoughts on what brand of tyre you have used in the past which you thought was a good all round performer.
I have done about 2 week research on this but each site just seems to name two different brands.
I have found on review sites that VREDESTEIN ticks alot of boxes
And also the the budget brand Event performs well.
However, as i said before i would like to hear of your experience with (top or budget) a brand of tyre you swear by.
I know this is sad but this really interests me.
My cars are golf (gti) + c4 grand Picasso
Any replys of your experiences or advice would be greatful to me.

Yup, Vredestein here. I currently have Sportrac 3s on my Jetta. Cost me about £70 a corner (fully fitted) for a 16" wheel. By far the best tyre I have had. I have also yet to read a bad review about them.
EDIT: 'Santa' (lol) makes a good point. I buy my tyres from www.camskill.co.uk . You will not find them cheaper anywhere. They only deliver though, so you need to find a local tyre fitter. My local costs me £12 per tyre to fit. I'd also avoid Kwik-S*it at all costs.
